Leading The Way To A Brighter Future

On Friday, October 8th, the Belize American Chamber of Commerce Inc. (BACC) led by Michael Young, along with the Belize Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) in association with Vice Mayor Yvette Colbourne and the City of Miramar, held the 5th annual Belize Investment & Economic Development Forum (BIF) in Broward County, Florida. The purpose of this year’s forum was to roll out the launch of Belize’s first Investment & Development Fund (BIFF-II) and to introduce the country’s first Registered Crowd-Funding Platform.

This hybrid event had guests attending both virtual and in-person from the diaspora community of Belize and the public. Special guest speakers, Hon. Minister Kareem Musa and Hon. Senator Darrel Bradley was among the official leaders and executives from both the public and private sectors that gave special presentations.

As one of the strategic partners of the Belize Investment & Economic Development Forum, it was an honor and a pleasure for TAS Belize to attend this event. As our purpose states, we are here to build a healthy business community.  What better way can this be done than to partner with those who remain steadfast in their commitment to the continued development of Belize? It is our hope that more opportunities for Belizean entrepreneurs will be created as a result of this new endeavor, thus strengthening our economy and fulfilling our purpose.
