1. Branding & Graphic Design
At TAS Belize, clients receive full ownership and usage rights to all final approved designs upon full payment. Deliverables are provided in high-resolution formats suitable for print and digital use (e.g., JPG, PNG, PDF).
Editable source files (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign files) remain the intellectual property of TAS Belize and are not automatically included. Clients who wish to obtain these working files for future editing or internal use may do so upon request for an additional fee equal to 30% of the total design cost.
TAS Belize also retains ownership of its proprietary templates, design frameworks, and creative systems, which are licensed only for use as integrated parts of the final deliverables and not for redistribution or resale.
2. Web Development
All website content, visuals, and text created for a client become the client’s property upon full payment. TAS Belize provides full access to the live website and any associated content management system (CMS) credentials as part of project delivery.
However, TAS Belize retains ownership of its custom frameworks, source code libraries, and proprietary tools developed prior to or independently of the client’s project (“TAS Background IP”). Clients are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use these components only as part of the delivered website.
If the client requires complete access to underlying source code or development files for independent modification or hosting, this may be made available for an additional buyout fee equal to 30% of the total project cost, depending on the project’s scope and technical structure.
3. Video Production & Media Projects
Clients receive full usage rights to the final edited videos upon full payment. These final deliverables are provided in HD or 4K resolution, optimized for web and social media platforms as agreed in the project scope.
Raw video footage, unedited project files, and other working materials remain the intellectual property of TAS Belize unless otherwise agreed in writing. If clients wish to receive the raw footage or editable project files (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects), these may be released for an additional fee of 30% of the total production cost to cover data management and licensing transfer.
TAS Belize retains the right to use finalized work for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the client.
Professional Justification
The 30% source file fee reflects the added value and preparation required to deliver editable, layered, or proprietary project files beyond standard deliverables. These files enable future modification, resale, or adaptation by third parties and therefore represent an extended license of TAS Belize’s intellectual property and creative systems.
