COVID-19 State of Public Emergency

The World Health Organization declared the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to be a global pandemic. Countries around the world have taken drastic measures to help combat the spread of the virus primarily through social distancing and self-isolation. Belize is no different. On 1st April 2020, the Government of Belize issued a country-wide state of public emergency. The Gazetted regulations and subsequent amendments, drafted in accordance with the Belize Constitution, Chapter 4 of the Laws of Belize are reproduced here for your reference.
